The dogwood shrub in our back yard has had a trying life under our watch. It was once one of three, but Brodie peed on the other two so many times that they ended up giving up the ghost. Now this one is trying to be a ghost, or something, as it has sent up this one white stalk in the center of the bush.
I’ve hacked this thing back a few times pretty ruthlessly, but forgot to this year. It’s huge now, and Coraline likes to try to eat the leaves that are near the ground. I wonder about its well being.
Is that an Elegantissima?
