Over the last few years, I have developed an interest in and passion for making quilts, especially art quilts.

This was my first major art quilt. I was inspired by Blythe, obviously, but also by nature in the form of the sky and the grass and in the form of birds. This quilt was displayed at Gray’s Furniture as part of Art Walk Central 2015.

I created this quilt for the 2015 Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival of Quilts as part of the theme challenge. The challenge fabric is that used for the figure’s dress. It was awarded the Gold for Best Portrayal of Theme.
