Spooky Night

Here’s one of my latest AnneArchy creations, the Spooky Night Dress for Blythe.

My goal here was to create a dress that would be appropriate for Halloween but also work for the whole fall season in general – something without any Halloween-specific items.

I found the two laces on the bodice at The Lob – they have it in a variety of colors, but orange and black were perfect for this time of year.

I just love this fabric, too. The leaves on the vine are a perfect motif for autumn, and the color combination is spooky without being specifically Halloweeny.

I’m happy that I was able to achieve my goals for this piece.
