Like most knitters, I’m a sucker for expensive fibers, and while I usually keep my pocketbook in check, it can be tempting to fall for a new-to-me variety. Even if I don’t really know what kind of creature produced the fiber, if it’s soft and doesn’t set off my allergies, it can be hard to resist.
