Emmeline Sweater for Blythe by AnneArchy

Stripes! I have made many knit sweaters with horizontal stripes, but not many (any?) with vertical stripes. Realizing something like this is sort of like a challenge to me – haven’t done a thing yet? Time to figure out how to do it! It was not difficult and I actually liked working with two yarns alternating closely like this. For me, it’s easier to do this kind of close color switching than it is to do it over larger spans of stitches – I don’t tend to work too tightly, which I sometimes can with other stranded knitting.

Winter is coming…

But happily, there are no White Walkers to be found here, only a cute Blythe sweater pattern! In my quest to do more intarsia, I designed this snowflake pattern. It’s simple and seasonal and can be knit up in any color combo you choose. The pattern includes both long and short sleeves, so it’s really customizable to whatever look you like!
