It took me a number of years of knitting to get to the point where I thought I was “good enough” to knit lace. Then one day I got my hands on some Rowan Kidsilk Haze and jumped in – and guess what, it turned out not to be that hard after all. This book would be a great place for a newb to start, and it also has some nice ideas for stitch patterns that I’ll definitely be using. My post over at CPL has more about it.
