The raised bed is doing really well despite me paying little to no attention to it! The pumpkin plants are especially thriving – they’re ready to take over the entire bed and the cukes nearby are looking almost sad in comparison (not really, they’re fine).
Check out these gigantic pumpkin blossoms!
Wow! There’s even a bee in there pollinating, woohoo!
Supposedly the weather will actually start to feel like fall today, in contrast to the mid-80s temps the past few days. I hope it does! I’m ready to break out the tights and to be able to wear a sweater all day instead of just inside the office where the AC is running. I got inspired last night to make an autumn dress for Blythe, and what I came up with is the Pumpkin Girl Dress:
I’ll definitely be doing more with the pumpkin and vines print fabric. It’s really awesomely fall – I’m thinking of possibly going and getting some more of it (though really, I don’t *need* to buy fabric until I make eleventy-hundred more dresses).
