I mean, who doesn’t want a rainbow sweater? I certainly do.
Too bad that I’m not committed to making myself a me-sized sweater, but good for Blythe and for other doll knitters out there. Like many of my sweaters for Blythe, this one is worn reverse-cardigan style–unless you want to wear it as a cardi, which is also fine. It’s quick to knit and since the new yarn colors are joined at the start of new rows, it’s really easy to keep track of where you are in the pattern.
I made this sweater in December, but then got a big custom order before I had a chance to sew the snap on, so it took me until today to truly finish it and get it posted on Etsy.
Lo and behold, it sold almost right away! (and to a fellow Michigan Blythe enthusiast! How cool is that?)
What’s also really cool is that the yarn for this sweater was gifted to me by the kickass E, who sent me a big care package of leftover yarn bits late last year. And not only is she super generous, she’s also excited to see the end result:
“I LOVE seeing my previously-unloved sock yarn scraps turn into Blythe sweaters at the hand of @anneheathen!”
